I don’t know about you, but I’m always ready for that change. The styles I chose for this post are styles that stand out above the rest, have a fresh and modern feel, they are looks I cant wait to try, and most importantly, the following Fall Winter 2023 Fashion Trends are extremely wearable 2023 fashion trends. Which means instead of chatting about them, you can actually go buy them! Yay for wearable trends!
Denim Styles Are Changing In Fall Winter 2023 Fashion Trends
There has been a major shift in denim, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous about it. I’ve been over skinny jeans for a while now, but that doesn’t mean I’ve found a new style to replace them. Denim looks significantly different in Fall Winter 2023 than it has in the past, and finding a replacement may be more challenging that it seems. Covering the new styles of denim is a post all on its own, so I’ll keep it brief for now. In the up and coming months, take note of the significant changes in denim and try a new style. Leather, Leather, and Vegan Leather Fall Winter 2023 Fashion Trends
One of the biggest Fall Winter 2023 Fashion Trends is leather. It is nothing new for leather pieces to emerge in the Fall because of the cooler weather. Typically we see jackets, a few skirts, and some pants, but this year, leather is taking a new form, called anything and everything. It’s leather head to toe. Leather, leather, and more vegan leather. Hats, skirts, shackets, corset tops, and dresses. Every line has leather or vleather pieces. Imagine this, you’re at The Gap, shopping for jeans, and the next thing you know, you’re in the dressing room with a pair of straight-leg vegan leather pants and a leather shacket. Yes, this happens, but I said The Gap not a high fashion boutique. My point is, leather is so popular it’s infiltrating the stores that supply us with our everyday staples.
With all the leather floating about, I think it’s essential to talk about vegan leather. I haven’t been an advocate for vegan leather in the past because I assumed if leather goods were so prevalent in the market, as a consumer, I wasn’t doing anything wrong by possessing these goods. With the growing popularity of v leather, I did a little research and have had a change in attitude. Now, I see vegan leather as an innovative attempt to lessen the cruelty and unnecessary slaughter of animals for leather goods. Regardless of my stance on the issue, I couldn’t fathom disagreeing with the previous statement and wouldn’t be caught dead protesting for the opposition. Here are a few facts about vegan leather that are fascinating to me.

The white tank got a status boost when one little designer sent their 7-foot beauties down the runway in not-so-basic basics. The models filed on the stage wearing white tanks with a familiar triangle logo, instantly transforming a basic into an “it” piece. These once called “basics” are now must-have pieces in 2022. Inspired by Prada, The Row, Bottega Veneta, and more, your average staples play a significant role in much more elegant looks.

Bomber Jackets go back to World War I, a period when airplanes were used for fighting but didn’t feature enclosed cockpits. Therefore the pilots needed an extra layer for warmth.
Have you ever felt like your look was stale and needed a new style to make you feel like you are doing something different? Something fresh? Bomber jackets are a fresh style to me. Bomber jackets (let me say that one more time, bomber jackets) are a style I don’t wear that often. Where have I been, you ask? I have no clue. Considering a baseball tee was my version of dressing “vintage” for many years, Im surprised I dont have this style jacket. This is new turf for me.
As I get to know this 2022 fashion trend, Im liking these jackets more and more. They are the perfect example of how one style can be versatile—teetering between ultra casual and even dressy, depending on their fabric and hardware. When constructed of corduroy, or a more casual material, they are great with joggers, denim, and tees. On the other hand, light silks or fur can elevate a bomber to dressy status.

Equestrian Chic
Equestrian-inspired fashion No one says you have to ride a horse to dress like one (a rider, not a horse). Equestrian style is one of the predominant 2022 fashion trends and this style is growing in popularity from multiple directions. Firstly, you have Dark Academia (preppy meets goth). Lastly, basics are hot this season. Basics that are affiliated with equestrian style like fitted leggings, stirrup pants, riding pants, trouser-style bottoms, and plaids, which usually come onto the scene during the cooler months. In short, many fads are bringing this preppy style to the surface this Fall. Keep your eye out for riding pants, elbow patches, riding boots with leggings, tweed jackets, a variety of plaids, and leather trimmings.
Flowing Maxi Dresses and Skirts
My best friend was the first person to introduce me to the Ysl 2022 Fashion Show, and it has been burned in my brain ever since. I’ve watched it 100 times and get chills every time I see it. The music, The Eiffel Tower… I could go on and on about how many things this show did right, but I will keep it relevant and short. When I think of high fashion, YSL did it right. The silhouettes of flowing maxi dresses and tailored jackets are forever burned in my brain. I’ve been waiting for the time to come, and I believe Fall is that time, for us to shine in our elegant maxi dresses. I’ll let the runway speak for itself.

Sheers: All you need to do is take a quick look at the sheer pieces I chose for this section, and you’ll realize why this look is of my favorite 2022 fashion trends. Sheer apparel is elegant, feminine, and very sexy. Some pieces of clothing whisper, “I’m here,” whereas sheer garments ring a five-alarm siren, giving any passerby a small glimpse of everything they are missing. There is an appropriate time and place for sheer clunsureut when you wear them, everyone will notice. If you’re not sure how to incorporate sheer fabric or a more dramatic look, you into your wardrobe, start with a simple sheer top or dress. For a more dramatic look, you can also try layering sheer clothing, for instance a tank or cami dress.

Trench Coats: They are older any of us reading this blog. They are classic pieces and they give a hint of refinement and class to any outfit. Loafers
Loafer: Loafers ar,e getting some time in the spotlight this year. Earlier in 2022 plalooks, loafers seemed to be the dominant new shoe trend, but it seems as though classic loafers are making quite the comeback for the cooler months. Loafers pair with denim, cuffed, for an extra preppy look. They look really cute with knee socks or ankle socks, and a favorite look I’m going to try this Fall is a loafer with stirrup pants. Any outfit paired with a loafer seems to get a boost of refinement.
There are so many new styles emerging for the FALL and Winter months. This post just scratched the surface, but these are the most relevant, wearble trends to me.
